There was one on Fondren, just north of Bellaire. Probably closed 45 years ago.

This goes back to 1972. Although I never ate there, I seem to recall
there being a restaurant called The Zuider Zee. Seems like it was in
the shape of a Dutch windmill, or had a windmill decor. Also seems
like it was a seafood place.
Any old coots out there recall it, or was it just another
hallucination?

Zuider Zee was a popular place in Oklahoma City during the time it was here. During the 60's every time my brother in the military would come home on leave, our family would gather to gather and go out and eat there, and get a big platter of catfish all you can eat meal with all the trimmings. It was so "delicious. "Sure do miss going there. "Miss it "all so much! The good memories of it all will "always be with me. Sincerely, CB in Oklahoma.
