Yes, we do, but there's no activity here any more. Your best bet for
finding what you need is to check b4ueat.com, where you can search for
buffet, Mexican, by area of town. Houston Press and its blogs might also be
helpful.

Bruce,

I don't know of any other Mexican buffets.

It looks like I am responding to this posting about three months late
though.

Ninfa's on Navigation would be a great place to visit though.

There's the Ranchero King Buffet at 5900 North Freeway
(just south of Gallery Furniture).

It's not much, but it's definitely a notch or two above Pancho's.

You might also Google "houston mexican buffets"
to possibly turn up a couple more.

Now there's a ringing endorsement, if ever I've seen one.

I've driven by Ranchero King hundreds of times and always been curious
about it but have never managed to summon enough intestinal fortitude
(literally as well as figuratively) to pull over and venture inside.

About 14 or 15 yrs ago, this group used to meet in restaurants and have
dinner, but that was when the group was more active. I might try this
restaurant some day, although I do not live near there. It might be a
while.
